Erica is the Development & Operations Manager at A Better Childhood. Since joining A Better Childhood in 2022, she has managed all administrative operations for the organization including HR, IT, office management, finance, communications, Board operations, fundraising, development, and grants. She also acts as an assistant to Executive Director Marcia Lowry. Erica has helped ABC build our administrative capacity as we grow and expand our reach across the country.

Before joining A Better Childhood, Erica worked as an Executive Assistant and Operations Associate at the New York Legal Assistance Group, another New York based civil legal non-profit. During her four years at the New York Legal Assistance Group, she was promoted to Officer Manager and eventually to Development Manager, supervising a staff of 7 people. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2018 with a B.A. in Government, a B.A. in Women’s Studies, and Minor in Astronomy. Erica loves swimming, vegan cooking, and spending time in Prospect Park.
